On 15 March 2020, in response to the grave global threat posed by COVID-19, President Cyril Ramaphosa declared a national state of disaster and called on all sectors of society to work together to prevent the spread
of the virus and coronavirus disease. On 16 March, Masimanyane's management team met to discuss the implications of this call on the organisation, our work and the staff involved. Below are some of the emergency and/or contingency measures which have been adopted.
